This is reminder that on tomorrow's election ballot is a Chesaning Union Schools Bond Proposal that, if approved, would result in no millage increase and, in fact, the mill rate would decrease from 5.24 mills to 4.5 mills with the discontinuation of the sinking fund. The proposal is designed to improve the air and water quality of the district's buildings, make needed pool improvements (last major pool improvements were implemented 17 years ago), enhance district safety, and improve district building and site infrastructure. Thank you and please vote on August 6th.
